Altar is a contemporary hair salon based in the Cultural Quarter of the city centre. Opening its doors back in spring 2018, Melanie has over ten years collective experience in hairstyling and bridal hair/makeup including training and education to a degree level. This has given her a broader insight into her chosen industry enabling her to fulfil her dream of setting up her own salon. Catering for both men and women, Altar offers chairs to other like-minded and passionate stylists and work as a strong dynamic team that can boast their own unique skills and specialities whilst individually tailoring to their clients. Altar wants the client to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere within the bohemian setting and go away feeling that they have had more than just a service but an experience.
