A brand-new festival celebrating all things sustainability and wellbeing will launch in Stoke-on-Trent City Centre this summer – and it will be completely free to attend.

The Potteries Centre is showing its commitment to evolving its retail space as it hosts a creative and exciting community youth exhibition titled Tomorrowland. The free exhibition launches from Saturday with a focus on rebuilding the future, and is one of many youth-led projects put together by arts organisation Urban Wilderness.

Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID and Staffordshire University have joined forces to bring to the city centre, a unique and digital event – a GamesJam - that could result in the start of a promising career in the gaming industry for a talented team of designers.

Businesses across Stoke-on-Trent that have had to remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic have been given a cash boost to help them reopen their doors – and £11.5 million has already been paid to 1,769 of them.

Clough Street – a busy throughfare used by pedestrians between the main shopping and dining area in Stoke-on-Trent City Centre and Tesco Extra, is being transformed, thanks to colourful and vibrant murals that will engage passers-by.
