The Mi Rewards loyalty programme was launched by Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) to encourage people to shop locally and support their high street businesses – all whilst having the opportunity to win an incredible prize every single month.

147 Foundation Year and First Year students recently took part in a brand-new pilot project named Stoke ON TREND GamesJam, hosted by Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID and Staffordshire University.

Creative People and Places programme Appetite has teamed up with Stoke-on-Trent City Centre venue The Sugarmill to ask Stokie music lovers to share their memories, anecdotes, photos and memorabilia from local gigs and concerts for an upcoming outdoor exhibition.

The money from the Safer Streets Fund will pay for CCTV, extra lighting and new security gates.

Better World Festival has announced a line-up of world music acts to play the free, family-friendly festival in August.
