intu's priority as they start to come out of the lockdown is to keep people safe as they continue to make sure centres are clean and safe places to be. They have looked at every element of what they need to do to run centres as safely as possible and they have common principles that have guided their decisions. The following measures are in place:

Social distancing

Social distancing will be essential and there will be a range of additional safety measures inside. In terms of the in-centre experience, people will be asked to follow a marked route and to keep 2m apart at all times.

Hand sanitisation

As before, hand sanitisation stands at key points will be throughout the centre for everyone to use. Everyone who visits is asked to make use of these when entering the centre and regularly throughout their visit. Toilet facilities with access to soap and hot water will also be available.

Marked routes

Once inside, everyone is asked to do their part too and follow the official guidance and in-centre information displays carefully.

Queuing

Their teams will be managing the number of visitors inside centres and will have controls in place at entrance and exit points to help them do that effectively. Where necessary, queueing systems will be in place outside each centre to regulate footfall.

intu Potteries would like to thank everyone for their patience and support as they serve their local communities in the way they know best. Check out their Frequently Asked Questions for more information on how your visit to intu may have changed.
