As the City Centre reopens following Governments guidelines regarding venues becoming COVID-19 secure, Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) are happy to be welcoming shoppers back into the City Centre.
There are a number of measures now in place for the City Centre and its stores for visitors to follow to keep everyone safe, including adherence to social distancing guidelines, new queuing systems and hand sanitiser stations.
To make queuing as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible, the BID is pleased to be hosting street-safe entertainment including circus acts and musicians this Friday and Saturday (19 and 20 June).

BID Manager Richard Buxton says:
“It’s been great to see the City Centre come to life again now the lockdown has been lifted and all the more so to see all visitors following all the measures we have implemented alongside Stoke-on-Trent City Council to keep everyone safe.
“Though the queues have been moving quickly and efficiently, we thought it would be a nice touch to bring in the best of local entertainment to keep everyone entertained, especially as we have had to postpone our 2020 BID events due to COVID-19.”
People are encouraged to visit the Stoke-on-Trent BID’s Facebook page or Twitter page for the latest updates relating to the City Centre’s reopening and other news.
