Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID is delighted to welcome Sarah Thomas-Gordon as their new Marketing Manager. Responsible for developing and taking forward the marketing and communications strategy, her duties will align with Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID's core objectives, supporting projects and services with positive promotional place marketing. 

Sarah joins the BID with a wealth of marketing experience, having worked in the travel and tourism sector for over 10 years. After graduating from Keele University with a degree in Media, Communications and Culture, she proceeded to develop her skills and experience in social media and influencer marketing at Alton Towers Resort, before handling digital content creation and events promotion at Trentham Estate. 

Looking to blend strategy with solidarity, Sarah endeavours to harness community engagement and compelling content in the role:

"People should be at the heart of everything we do, from all our marketing efforts to making a difference in our City Centre streets; that's exactly how I intend to take forward our marketing and communications strategy. I'm excited to develop content that connects our community - focussing on shared experiences, the great and the good that our City Centre has to offer through photo, video and the power of the written word. As a born and bred Stokie, I'm honoured to be working and collaborating with local businesses, stakeholders and an amazing team to make a difference to my home city."
