This February, patrons and proprietors of The Coachmakers Arms celebrate as the esteemed Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) bestowed them the title of ‘Pub of the Month’. Nestled in Litchfield Street, The Coachmakers Arms stands as a testament to the charm of traditional pubs. With its quaint facade and welcoming ambiance, a keen sense of community permeates every nook and cranny.

“It's fantastic to be featured at CAMRA Potteries’ Pub of the Month’. Owner Rob Ledger exclaims. “We represent a fine selection of real ales and always aim to keep our customers happy and satisfied with the value, cost and quality of our drink offering.”

Bass is generously supplemented by a wide selection of bottled ales and over 30 ranges of craft ales. Also featuring 20 whiskies, 15 rums and 20 gins, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy at this traditional pub.

“We’re proud of our community too.” continues Rob. “Here, our regulars share stories over pints and newcomers find a home away from home.”

CAMRA for the Potteries awards this accolade monthly, and on an annual scale. The consumer organisation of CAMRA represents beer drinkers up and down the country, campaigning for pubs, pints and people. The Coachmakers Arms has also received this award back in November 2019, as well as PPPG Community pub of the season runner up. It’s certainly safe to say that Rob and the team create an atmosphere as hearty as the real ale they serve.
