Extra Special Events for an Extra Special Year

It's no secret that here at Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID, we pride ourselves in delivering free to attend events for the people of our city, and this year is no different. Not only does 2025 mark 100 years of city status, but a year full of exciting activities taking place in the city centre. From family-favourites to new surprises, we’re thrilled to be sharing all that is to take place in our city centre (Hanley) for the remainder of 2025…



**NEW FOR 2025** Stoke 100 Street Party
What better way to extend the party for those not ready to go home and to carry on the party into the early hours. Celebrating the city’s rich dance music scene, this official centennial celebration brought to you by The Move Uk is set to be a family friendly free event in the day, with a free party at The Underground later into the evening.

Armed Forces Day
After last year’s smash hit success, we’re thrilled to be marking Armed Forces Day 2025 in the city centre. There’ll be plenty of entertainment and fun in store following a procession through town, with the day featuring wartime vehicles, performances, an Artisan Market and other exciting appearances.

The Big Feast
The Big Feast IS a two-day, festival-style event where you can see some of the best artists from across the UK – and beyond – on the streets of Hanley. It’s a thrill for the senses that often includes circus, outdoor theatre, singing, dancing and other things that simply defy description. There is always so much to do and always plenty of interactive elements for you to join in with.

Accessible for everyone, suitable for all, and free. The Big Feast is brought to you by Appetite, Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID, Smithfield and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

BIG Halloween Street Party
Get set for a frightfully fun time as the BIG Halloween Street Party returns for 2025!

The city centre will be transformed into a haunted haven with eerie decorations, ghostly performers, and interactive experiences for all ages.

Enjoy music, street entertainers, a costume contest for little monsters with prizes up to £100, trick-or-treating plus an autumnal appearance from Potteries Artisan Market and creepy crafting opportunities.

This free event promises a day of spooktacular fun; you'd be a ghoul to miss out!

Welcome to Christmas
Things are about to get FESTIVE with the return of our Welcome to Christmas event.Featuring themed entertainment from Circus in a Box, the return of Potteries Artisan Market, feel-good festive tunes and performances PLUS much more, it's the perfect way to get in the festive spirit and jingle the day away with us.
