It’s really important that we all spend as much time as possible at home to keep ourselves and others safe during the COVID pandemic. However, there's no getting past the fact that it can get a little ... boring. But not to fear as there are lots of fun things that you can do within your four walls to keep you busy, boost your morale and have a positive impact on your mental health.

Stay tuned for a weekly update from us detailing three new activities for you to enjoy during lockdown and if you have any ideas of your own would love to hear them. Send them to us at hello@stokeontrentbid.co.uk.

Feast at home

For when you're sick of doing the dishes or just fancy some restaurant quality food, then you should treat yourself to a takeaway from one of our city centre venues. It’s the perfect way to guarantee a stress-free dinner that packs in some serious taste – and you’re supporting small businesses too. Winner winner, chicken (or whatever you fancy) dinner! Check out places like The Corner, Restaurant Family, The Slamwich Club, NØRTH Kitchen + BarThe Quarter, Klay Pizzeria, The Burger Priest, Peter's Tavern, Portofino, Chiquito and Roberto’s Pizza House

Get gaming

It’s cold outside, we’re in a lockdown – what better time to get into gaming? Whether you’re team Playstation, Xbox, Ninetendo or PC, Game have got a multitude of concoles and games to keep you entertained which can be delivered to your door. Fancy shooting some zombies? Resident Evil? Want to get sporty? FIFA. Something more classic? Super Smash Bros. Or want a more tranquil experience? Animal Crossing.
